Hojas Secas is a reflexive composition blending Latin American and Spanish sounds with Arabic influences, inspired by long walks taken through streets covered with dry leaves in my hometown, Caracas. A city where urban chaos and tropical lush coexists in a strangely beautiful but constant struggle. Hojas Secas is about the stunning contrast between human-made creations and nature and how we can find solace in the idea that our selves might be both a result of a chaotic self-creation and the apparently random nature of our existence.

Hojas Secas es una composición reflexiva inspirada en largos paseos por calles cubiertas de hojas secas en mi ciudad natal, Caracas. Una ciudad donde el caos urbano y la exuberancia tropical conviven en una lucha constante y sin embargo, extrañamente hermosa. Hojas Secas es un recordatorio del sorprendente contraste entre las creaciones humanos y la naturaleza y cómo podemos encontrar consuelo en la idea que nosotros mismos somos a la vez una autocreación caótica y el resultado la naturaleza aparentemente aleatoria de nuestra existencia.
